Whether you're brand new to VO or curious about working behind the mic, this workshop gives you the tools to start strong and sound professional from day one. Step into the booth and find your voice in Mic Drop, a four-week commercial voiceover intensive designed to help you build strong fundamentals and real-world technique. From mic etiquette and vocal clarity to audience connection and authentic delivery, this hands-on workshop introduces you to the diverse world of commercial voice work—including narration, character, pharma, and PSA reads. Each class includes individual mic time, instructor feedback, and a recorded take of your work. Whether you're new to VO or ready to level up your commercial read, this class will help you get heard—literally. Please bring something to take notes with. Phones and personal recording devices are not permitted in class. Perfect for people who are new to voice-over or who want to hone their commercial voice-over skills! About Kate Roth: Kate Roth is an actor, voice-over artist, dancer, and singer. Originally from Northern California, she received degrees in Musical Theatre and Education at the University of Southern California, and now splits her time between LA and NYC. Kate has appeared in numerous commercials, voice-overs, feature films, music videos, and musicals. She currently voices multiple recurring characters on two Netflix series, and can be seen acting on TV in a City Furniture commercial and as a featured dancer in two music videos for Joyner Lucas. Kate's career began in musical theatre and commercial dance, and quickly expanded, creating the diverse performance artist she is today. In addition to performing, Kate loves to share her passion for the arts through directing, choreographing, teaching, judging, and the creation of original works.
